Bacon & Veggie Stew


5 strips thick-cut bacon
1 large yellow onion, chopped
1 cup green onions, chopped
3 medium-sized carrots, chopped
3 medium-sized potatoes, halved & chopped
3-4 cups water
3 beef bouillon cubes
(Add parsley, summer savory, pepper, & garlic salt, to taste)

Chop all veggies and store in crockpot along with the water & beef bouillon cubes. Cook bacon as directed on package, then when the bacon’s done, pat off excess grease. Using kitchen shears, cut the bacon into pieces over the crockpot. Add seasonings to your liking and stir. Set the crockpot on high for 4 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve immediately.
