What A Workout (Catching-Up for the Past Week)

Hey all!

     So, I told you I was going to start working out more often; I will admit that my friend was right. It is hard to stay motivated when you have no-one to work out with…but I realized something: Every-day chores do burn calories. With that in mind, I was able to justify being “lazy” from Friday thru Sunday; I did dishes, laundry, took out the trash, etc. (Tuesday, I did some stretching and dancing during my hour-long lunch break at work. Wednesday, I walked from my apartment to my grandpa’s old place — a half-hour walk — before work, and then after work, I walked to my dart game — a 10 to 15 minute walk. Thursday, since I only had work for two hours, I walked from work to my grandpa’s place, then from there, around the block to walk with my aunt and my dad’s dog and back to grandpa’s. I felt pretty darn accomplished.)

     This past weekend was full of errands: we went grocery shopping, dropped off some old clothes to the high school drama department for their costume closet, and paid some bills. We had a lot of fun doing those things, though. Oh, and before I forget, we also made this amazing pork tenderloin last night! The recipe should be up within the next few days — I hope.

     I hope you all had a great weekend, and have a great Valentine’s week. Whether you’re spending it alone or with a loved one, make sure you get yourself some chocolate and curl up with a good book or movie.
