I wanted to do a quick shout-out to the veterans who served our country, whether you’re in your mid-20’s or are pushing 100 years old, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’ve done us a great service by protecting our livelihoods and our futures. The veterans who are near and dear to my heart are my friend D., my grandfather, and a few adopted family members who no-longer live near me. Thank you all! (…and Grandpa, I love and miss you every day.)
Moving on, for me and the boyfriend’s 3rd anniversary about a week ago, I got him a cute t-shirt and a gel mouse pad as a surprise. What a surprise it was, too — they both arrived yesterday! He got a kick out of the shirt, but he really loved the mouse pad; he’s still gushing about how adorable it is.
I’m so ready for the weekend; grocery shopping believe it or not is therapeutic for me. Also, might be able to go out to dinner this month. We shall see. I’m excited to see what happens.
Our friend L. and her son J. are leaving town for good to move to HI the day after Thanksgiving. I’m not very thrilled, but it’s something that happens. People leave, and I’ll get over it…eventually.
Speaking of HI, my friend A. and her boyfriend M. are currently there for a family vacation. This will be A.’s first trip to HI. How exciting, huh? My sister’s been to HI, my boyfriend’s been to HI…and I still haven’t gone yet. 😦
Anyhow, I suppose that’s all for now. I hope you all have a great evening, and an amazing rest of the week. Take care!
Until next time! ❤ ❤
