Sun, Work; Rain, Relaxation [and Productivity]..?

Hey all.

Why is it that whenever it’s sunny outside, we have to work? And then, when it’s raining, we have our weekend? But let me explain; I like the sunshine, but I love the rain! I especially love it when it’s just down-pouring [not like today, where there’s a gusting wind accompanying said rain]; I also love it when I can hear the rain outside my window at night, as it helps sooth my mind and get me to sleep quicker.

Today, I woke up with a horrible backache; don’t know how it happened, but I’m thinking I may’ve slept wonky or something…so I sat on the couch in the living room and watched some YouTube and played some X-Com: Enemy Within. Then, I turned on Spotify’s “Rainy Day” playlist, unloaded the clean dishes from the dishwasher, put a dirty load in and started those, and finally made myself some lunch and decided to hop on the laptop to update some things.

As always, I hope you all have had a good week so far, and if you ever feel inclined to chat with me, leave me a comment below. I’d love to hear from you.

Until next time… ❤ ❤

Bit of News!

Hey All!

First off, wanted to say that one of my favorite YouTubers, Adria (Don’t Be A Sad Panda) just hit 100,000 subscribers. To celebrate, she made a collage using the pics from her SnapChat fam and I was featured in that collage! (I’m in the top-left corner.)

Also, I made this awesome brunch with sautéed veggies, Parmesan cheese, and eggs.

Anyhow, short and sweet post. Hope you all are having an amazing week so far! Take care!

Until next time… ❤ ❤

(Btw, go subscribe to Adria’s channel if you haven’t already.)

Weekly Update

Hello all!

To those of my readers who celebrate Easter in any form, I wish you a very happy [belated] Easter. Mine went all right; had to work, then didn’t feel well and came home. Mother Nature’s been kicking my ass and making me super-emotional and tired. …it’s been an interesting weekend.

I finished “adulting”, yesterday, and filed some important paperwork for the year; I feel so accomplished. Also, the boyfriend and I got back into playing Diablo III for the Xbox One; the more I played, yesterday, the more I realized just how OP (over-powered) our characters were…and we were starting from bare-bones! I’m playing a female Sorcerer and the boyfriend’s playing a female Witch Doctor.

Anyhow, today will be a day of lounging [since all that adulting is over with], and maybe playing some Terraria with the boyfriend…if not some more Diablo III. At the moment, I’m sitting here with my very old Beanie Baby, Spot, and a cup of sweetened Oolong Tea, and listening to Sky Gaming in the background (he’s one of the boyfriend’s favorite YouTubers). Later on, I think our friend C. is coming over to hang out after he gets done with work.

I hope you all had a fun/safe holiday weekend filled with much relaxation and festivities. Have a wonderful week!!

Until next time! ❤ ❤

Yay! I Remembered!

Hey all!

So, work has been kind of interesting. Between the new Monopoly game that’s going on (think like McD’s), and then everyone being sick — and thus, us being understaffed — it’s been a bit chaotic. Plus the fact that Sunday was Superbowl…and we were freaking slammed!!! It was pretty bad.

Today and tomorrow, I have off from work, and thank goodness! I’ve been dealing with a cold for the past couple of days. I’m really hoping that I’ll be feeling better before I go back in on Thursday.

I went to the coffee shop today; their internet was pretty shoddy, to say the least…which is weird, because usually their internet is quick and hardly ever acts-up. So like, I couldn’t multitask (ie, YouTube + DeviantArt + Facebook) like I usually do. So, eventually, I went home because I got hungry. I was able to buy myself some tea, and it was soo good! It was called Breakfast Spice tea, and it tasted a bit like Big Red gum. Pretty cinnamon-y, but not overwhelmingly so. Just really good — and it was a black tea! So delicious! But yeah, I walked to and from the coffee shop today; about .98 miles, both ways. Relatively uneventful, but pretty cold. But then again, I guess 38 degrees isn’t that cold.

Last night, my boyfriend and I played Minecraft together on our XBox One, and he asked me to make a house for his village…so I did. And he didn’t really approve because it was–err, is pretty big. So, I made a house out of smooth red stone, red stained glass, iron bars, obsidian, smooth sandstone, and glowstone. I love creating in this game so much. It’s so fun. And I get really ornate with how I build these buildings.

Anyhow, I guess that’s all for now. I hope y’all have an awesome week. And also, if you didn’t catch my Polyvore post earlier this afternoon, I suggest you go give it a gander. Take care!

Until next time! ❤ ❤
