Hey all!

I know I’ve been quite M.I.A. for the past…forever. I’m so glad that you guys haven’t given up on me and have stuck with me during my absence. Life hasn’t quite been kind to me…and I’ll leave it at that. Actually, I have a picture that may accurately describe how I’ve been feeling lately…

I also wanted to share with you guys my “Manicure of the Week” (in honor of the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day):

Oh! So, this past week, I wore this amazing shirt, and I love it so much! (I mean, I love it even though it hugs me in the “wrong spots”, but whatever.) Because it makes me feel so good, I got to thinking, “Why does it make me feel so good?”…well, I thought about it, and it boiled down to the color. It’s my favorite color (purple); then, I got to thinking on “power colors” or what makes one feel strong or empowered when wearing it. I wore this one shirt, and felt sexy…strong…empowered…vibrant. Those are the words that stream-along in my head when I wore this shirt. It’s from Susie Rose (can’t honestly remember where I’d originally bought it) but it’s a friggin’ amazing shirt and I want to get another one, or this one in a size up. (All this talk of feeling empowered got me thinking of my amazing cousin, Solveig.) Here’s a pic of the shirt:
